Hey there, I'm Jackson Bierfeldt. I grew up in Amherst, OH, and have lived and worked in the United States and Central Europe. I studied Germanic Studies and Linguistics at the University of Chicago and the University of Vienna, and work as a fullstack developer, audio engineer, translator, and sound designer, among other things. I currently am working remotely and traveling to different places, learning languages, and exploring via land and sea.

I've been tinkering around on the web since I was in middle school, and have always had my hands in some JavaScript project or the other since then. I'm excited by the current power and ubiquity of web platforms and technologies.
